At this year’s WWDC, Apple announced a few key changes to the way that Apple Pay works, and even rebranded Passbook.
Leading up to this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple unveiled that it has rebranded Passbook, as a good indicator that the service has expanded quite a bit. And that includes the ability to not simply just carry credit or debit cards, but also the introduction of rewards cards from several different retailers.
he first retailers offering rewards cards out of the gate will be Kohls, BJ’s, and JCPenney. More retailers will be added in short order, including Dunkin’ Donuts adding its own rewards program as well.
Apple also announced that Apple Pay will be coming to the United Kingdom this July.
